RECYCLED SARI BAG

This extremely lightweight, yet durable bag is perfect for many uses. Large enough to hold groceries or books, but compact when folded into its pouch. Made from recycled sari dresses – each is unique!

Made by a small collective of approximately 25 male and female artisans from the urban areas of Rajasthan. Fine stitching is the specialty of these artisans, many who are tailors by trade. Products are made from locally sourced cotton or recycled fabrics. The organization provides additional training on stitching & design so products appeal to a North American market, ensuring sustained employment. Fair Trade certification ensures these artisans receive fair wages and work in a fair and comfortable environment.
