This bag is made by a group of artisans that specializes in wood block printing in north west India. Ramlal Khatri is the head of the group. He is a renowned artist who has won awards for his work. However, he was unable to sell enough of his products to earn a living. Our partners have come alongside Ramlal and his group, and together they developed the Eco Shopper reusable shopping bag. Ramlal has now hired 20 extra tailors to help him stitch the bags made from his fabrics. His son is now planning on going to college, something Ramlal is very proud of.
