ANISETTE SOAP

Licorice and alkanet roots, both wild vegetable dyes gathered locally, give this soap its distinctive coloring. Ingredients: Palm oil, coconut oil, water, sweet almond oil, sodium hydroxide, anise oil, pomegranate seed oil, castor oil, licorice root, alkanet root, grapefruit seed extract.

The lush and exotic oils that make up these products have been cold pressed or steam distilled from the indigenous fruits, nuts and botanicals of southern Afghanistan. Used for centuries to protect against a harsh climate, they restore health and radiance to the skin. Precious food grade oils are extracted by members of a cooperative in our solar powered atelier.
